feathers braided into my hair

I've got some feathers from you like a promise of a paradise. We'll ride horses into the sea and slide backwards into salty waves. The birds from the feathers you will have braided into my hair will land on our sunkissed shoulders and bring us berries.

I want to watch 1970's Hawaiian sunsets with you. Our skin radiating warmth, floating up, flying above the jungles, our atoms shedding off of us like trailing light imprints until we are nothing
